Questions Before Your Visit

Answers to questions we often receive before a visit.

It is my first visit. Which option should I choose?

We recommend the 60-minute Standard Care session for first-time visitors. Please allow about 30 extra minutes on your first visit; there is no additional charge. If you are unsure, we can discuss it when you arrive.

Is it okay if I have never tried acupuncture or feel uneasy about it?

Acupuncture and moxibustion are central to our care, but we will not insist on using them if you feel anxious or afraid. We consider your preferences and condition, and may discuss other methods such as manual therapy.

Can I use insurance?

All treatments are currently self-pay; we do not provide treatment covered by insurance. All prices on this website are self-pay fees.

Can I consult you if a hospital found no abnormalities but I still feel unwell?

Yes. If discomfort remains even after a hospital found no abnormalities, you are welcome to consult us. We do not make medical diagnoses, and prioritize assessment and tests at a medical institution when needed. You may also consult us alongside medical treatment.

How many visits will I need, and how often?

We discuss this individually based on your symptoms, physical condition and progress. We do not promise a fixed number or frequency of visits, or a timeframe for improvement. We do not sell prepaid visit packages. We suggest the frequency we consider appropriate at that time, and you decide whether to continue visiting.
