Body Care and Conditioning

We assess your body in relation to the activities you want to keep doing, such as work, housework, parenting, exercise and hobbies, rather than only whether you have pain or symptoms. When needed, we combine treatment with manageable exercise and self-care.

Do you have any of these goals or concerns?

  • You experience repeated strain at work or during housework
  • You are concerned about fatigue or movement after exercise
  • You want to keep enjoying hobbies or sports over time
  • You want regular checks of your physical condition
  • You want to understand your condition before pain develops

How we assess your goals and your body

The approach needed varies with the activities you want to continue. We first ask about your goals, then assess the actual movements and your condition.

  • What you want to keep doing: Your goals guide which movements we check and which treatments or exercises we consider.
  • Difficult or repeated movements: We review how you use your body in daily life.
  • Whole-body and joint movement, muscle tension and differences between sides: These help us understand your current condition.
  • Exercise levels, rest, lingering fatigue and previous injuries: We consider their relationship with your activity levels.

About Treatments

Acupuncture and moxibustion:We adjust the intensity and treatment method while checking skin and muscle responses to acupuncture.

Manual therapy:When needed, we use hands-on muscle techniques, check joint movement and incorporate stretching.

Combined care as needed:We select treatment, manageable exercise and self-care according to your goals and your body's responses.

We also check movement and your body's responses after care, and revise the approach when needed.

When medical care should come first

If you experience chest pain during or after exercise, sudden shortness of breath, loss of consciousness or weakness in an arm or leg on one side, or intense pain, deformity or inability to move after a major collision or fall, please seek medical care before treatment at our clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I consult you even if I am not in pain?

Yes. We consider your current condition and the activities you want to continue, such as work, exercise and hobbies, rather than deciding only from whether you have a named symptom.

Can you advise me on exercise and self-care too?

We suggest manageable exercise and self-care according to your condition and the activities you want to continue. We do not prescribe the same exercise routine for everyone; we view it as one way to connect care with daily life.

How often should I come?

We make individual suggestions based on your condition, goals and progress. We do not set a fixed number or frequency of visits, and we do not sell prepaid visit packages. After we explain our suggested plan, you decide whether to continue visiting.
